GB Women’s have put their heart and soul into every game and the results didn’t go their way but we are so proud of them. Here is your chance to let the girls know exactly what you think. We will print them out and give them to the girls after their final game against Brazil on Sunday.

They may not be as high profile as the men but every time I’ve seen them in action i’ve liked what I’ve seen. Keep it up.
They play sport the way it was invented to be played, with passion and spirit. Don’t change the way you play the wins will come if you just keep going as a team.
You ladies are awesome. You’ve earned your right to play with the best teams on the planet, now go show them why you are one of them.

I’ve never been more proud to be a GB basketball fan. I’ve watched the games surrounded by people who knew nothing about basketball who have been amazed by the heart and passion of team GB. Inspirational!
They performed admirably during the Olympics – hope this team stays together to further inspire girls to get involved in women’s basketball.

Jo and team,believe me when I say that not only are you an inspiration to this generation of women basketball players, but the next generation of young girls. My 15 year old niece is aiming to be a basketballcoach and the GB womens team, along with her favourite local team players are an invaluable inspiration for her future. The games have been really entertaining and although it was heart-breaking with how we lost a couple of them that we deserved to win, you all still did us and the sport proud. Keep it up, the wins will come!
True Olympians not only represent their country; but their sport. They are not only expected to rise above themselves in terms of performance; but in spirit, stature and sportsmanship.
